About me
I proudly served 30 years in the United States Marine Corps and have spent the past 13 years with the National Park Service, specializing in Emergency and Incident Management. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership and Followership Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University-an institution I deeply value, having earned two previous degrees there. I firmly believe it is the best school in the country! Upon completing my doctoral studies, I plan to retire from federal service and dedicate my time to volunteer work, focusing on women’s charities and empowerment initiatives. My husband, Stephen, and I are “empty nesters” and have 14 grandchildren. We reside in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C.
