Dr. Chris Fuzie is the Business/Human Resources Manager for the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s office, and owner of C.M.F. Leadership Consulting. Dr. Fuzie holds 4 separate copyrights and has published two books, “S.C.O.R.E. Performance Counseling: Save the Relationship, Change the Behavior,” which became an Amazon bestseller, and “Because…Why? Understanding Behavior in Exigencies.” Dr. Fuzie is currently working on a new book, "Liminal Space: Reshaping Leadership and Followership” which is due to come out in Summer 2024. Chris worked for the Modesto Police Department for 28 years beginning as a Community Service Officer (CSO) parking attendant and Reserve Police Officer. Chris retired as the Assistant Division Commander for the department’s Investigations Division and Commander of the Homicide Unit, Gang Unit, undercover street drug unit (MNET), with collateral duties as the Hostage Negotiations Commander, and Mental Health Team Commander.
Chris was an invited speaker at the International Leadership Association’s Global Conference in Brussels, Belgium in 2017 (re: Transparency and the Police), and 2021 in Washington, D.C. (The exigent Response Model). Chris was a presenter and speaker at the First Global Conference on Followership in Ottawa, Canada in July 2019 on the “Intertwining of Leader and Follower Behaviors,”
