About me
Dr. Jeffrey McClellan is a scholar-practitioner specializing in leadership development, dedicated to helping individuals achieve personal and professional success. With a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University, his career spans roles as a career counselor, academic coach, educational administrator, and training director. Currently, he is a Professor of Management at Frostburg State University, where he teaches leadership, management, and international management. At FSU, he has co-coordinated the leadership minor, co-directed the leadership center, and collaborated with the HR office to design and lead faculty and staff leadership development initiatives. Additionally, he teaches leadership courses annually in Germany. He has also taught in Ecuador.
Dr. McClellan's expertise includes international leadership development, servant-leadership, leadership in Latin America. and academic advising administration. He regularly presents and publishes on topics related to these areas of study. Beyond academia, he is an experienced trainer, coach, and consultant. He has also taken students on leadership learning trips to Peru, Ecuador, China, Brazil, Columbia, and Germany. He is currently finishing a sabbatical during which he wrote a book and guided journal on momentary leadership.
